I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Rob, I am currently active duty Army, and I have had many street and dirt motorcycles. I now own a '09 KLR 650, and just picked up a '88 or '89 blaster, my first quad. It is in need of a motor, the one in it runs, but the left case is damaged and it sounds like the bottom end is gonna explode at high rpm. I do have a old ex500 motor I could stuff in it, but that sounds like a lot of work and no riding. So..... I will now scour your forum for parts and ideas on how to get my quad going. Thanks in advance.
