i just bought a quad off craiglist..i bought it for $400..
the guy started it up i rode it..he had the pink in hand and it was currently registered too.. so I jumped on the
I shined up the fmf and its like new!!

Anyhow when i went to check the sharp plug i just noticed it had a keihn carb on it...(with the choke were it pops up straight...)
how can i tell if its just a 28 or a bigger one?

I believe the carb's are stamped one one side with numbers which you can check. It is probably a PWK, PE, or PJ series. You can always just temporarily unbolt the carburetor from the intake boot and measure the ID (inside diameter) of the bore from the engine (not air intake) side...

yEa looks like stock boots but the intake end seems it might be bigger than the one on my '95... The top pops on and uses two screws to screw on rather the spanner nut..
When I seen the keihn I was like it has a bigger carb too!

Is there a big difference to how the bike runs if I take the oil injection off and put a block off?
My 95' was already.done when I bought it....
