Ok so im new and need help.
One of the blaster I have gas runs out of the bottom when you shut it off. So I went out a got a rebuild kit and took it all apart and cleaned it up. Put it back together and it does the same dang thing. Am I missing something here? I Think im over looking a simple fix and just want your guys opinion.

and

I cant get it to idle right at all. When the choke is on it idles fine, but witht he coke off after its warm the idle climbs and holds steedy Id say about 1/3 throttle. BUT NOW that I think about it....The oil injection is blocked off and I dont think I plugged the hole so mabey its sucking in air there?

and

I have an exhaust leak, I went out and got a new gasket but guess what? it still leaks and the pipe has a lot of free play in it. It is like the flange is not thick enough to tighten up. Any Ideas?

thanks for the help
This site has ton of info
please help the newb
thanks

check the floats in the carb, could have a hole in them or be out of adjustment, and yes make sure you plug the oil hole thats very important. and as for the exhaust im not sure if the bolts are tight it should be good is it a stock exhaust?

probably missing a nut or two kids blaster lost one the other was lose as hell on the exhaust pipe. but if its after market pipe ur missing the springs, it will have loops to hook the springs to if it is.

It is an after market pipr. Toomey I think? Id has the srpings and there are two bolts that are TIGHT as hell but the pipe itself moves about an inch in a circle. and I dont think its missing springs...but I didnt look that close

adjusted the float level and got it running. Found an air leak and fixed the idle
but after I let it sit and went back to start it, it would not idle for anything. Nothing changed. even after it was warmed up the idle was either to low and it would die or WAY HIGH. It seems like the idle screw under the seat is un-resopnsive. Got any ideas? the throttle is not stuck either.

also on right side of the motor under the carb there is a lil hole going striaght down in the case right behind the jug. It started seeping fluid up right throu it. What is the hole there for? a vent of some sort? cap it? leave it?

the hole is sopposed to have a nipple on it to put a hose on its the crank case breather hole, and it sounds like youve still got an air leak

So just vent it?
I though it was an air leak but why would it idle fine then let it sit then all the sudden it will either idle WAY HIGH or so low the quad dies?

when parts get hot thy expand and contract, get some starting fluid and start it up n spray around the motor listining for it to revv up, also it the tors disconected? its the wires coming out of the box on the carb, they should be unplugged or cut

nope it still has tors on it, I will probly un hook it tomarrow mabey. Could the tors be part of my problem?
