i just got some new aarms for my blaster becaust the other ones the swivel joints are terrible but i really need to repaint them along with the new shocks. how should i do it? and what color? its black and red with a few random blue parts

with the shocks if ur painting them, make sure to not paint the whole thing, take the spring off and do it right
Compress the spring beyond the point where the end washer can slide out. You need spring compressors with tiny hooks on the end in order to get them compressed and decompressed without killing yourself.
I made a set:
Half inch all thread and 1/4" NPT pipe drilled out to 1/2" ID. I made the hooks out of a piece of flat stock 1/2" wide flat bar. Welded the bar to the pipe and then bent it over into a hook.

Thanks man. I had an issue with sagging springs on my bayou not giving my maximum ground clearance so I sourced a different set of springs but didn't have a way to install them... I scratched my head for a minute before I whipped out the welder and fabbed up me a solution to my problem.
They cost me about $8 to make, absolutely indispensable to have.
