im curious to know why you guys would buy em.i mean you dont actually stand on the nylon straps do you?
i could imagine youll pull a fred flintston if you stood on em durring a jump.

You don't stand on the straps. They help protect your foot if it slips off the pegs. In racing you have to have them because it helps to prevent atv's getting stuck together. They keep the wheels apart, a wheel will hit the nerf bar instead of coming into the frame, peg or whatever else.

i almost broke my leg last summer because i didnt have nerfs. my foot came off the peg and my calf got caught against the peg at about 30mph. now i have them and i love them. theyve saved me a few times. my pegs need regrooved so my foot stops sliding off

Just bust out a dremel and have at it. I just did mine today.

Imagine your foot slips off the pegs in 4th gear while taking a turn, then your foot gets sucked under the pegs tearing every ligament in your knee, then under the rear tire shattering your femur in half.

yeah right no one is going to pay for one of those kids, think about it you have to buy clothes/food/education. if i try to sell them the person is going to slap me on the face and tell me to pay him!

definetly be worth it to save some scrapes and bruses.
maby this year ill hurt myself and find out its better to get the nerfs haha
