nerf bars

As some may know, I am building a hybrid blaster with a cr125 motor. I have the motor all done as well as the exhaust. Here is the issue, nerd bars. I want to run them and my exhaust is in the way and standard nerfs won't fit now. Should I try and run a different nerf from a different model quad or weld 6 inch mount tubes to frame?

How much is it hitting. We have had clearance issues and we have mounted the tusk nerf bars to the back of the peg instead of the front.

I haven't gotten any yet. They are on the want list.

Well you have already proven you have fab skills. As you can see in my sig pic there is only an 1/8" clearance on mine. I had to move to top mount and roll the pivot the pipe so it wouldn't hit.

Hey wife, can you put up a close-up pic of your nerf bars?

Do you want close ups of the XFR nerfs on my bike or the tusk nerfs mounted to back side of pegs on another bike?

As you can see I broke a weld trying to get them to fit. I was not happy with the way they fit.

Yeah, I can see that, wow!! I will have to look at my bike again when I get a chance to see if I have the room to run mine threw like that.

Lol, I wish I had read this sooner. I took my pipe off before work, filled it with water to let mother nature push my dent out.
