I am doing a rebuild project on my Blaster. I am going to be painting everything, rebuilding some things, I could use some pointers on parts and easier ways to do things, so far, all I know for sure is that I want to paint the frame, A Arms, and swing arm area orange, and the Back and front fenders, and the hood Black, I think that will look cool.
The mods I have on it now are:

Boyesen Power reeds
FmF Gold Series Fatty Header Pipe
FmF PowerCore 2 SST Silencer

As you can see, I need some new mods, and I could use some pointers...

make sure when you paint, you put on a good primer layer and good top coat. When finished use a layer of sealer so the paint will not flake. Since you want the frame and all orange use a white primer so it will not come out to dark.

Preparation is the rule for any paint job.

It must be clean and grease free, and fully abraded so that the paint has a chance to stay on.

On bare metal it is a good idea to use etch primer.

After every coat has dried it is important to rub back fully with fine wet and dry paper to give a key for the next coat to bond.

A good trick to see if you have rubbed back all of the primer/undercoat, is to dust spray a darker colour over the entire surface. Then rub back until all the dark paint has been rubbed off.

Failure to do this may cause the paint to chip.

Only use enough paint to get the required coverage to get a uniform colour, if you use too much paint it will chip, even if the surface has been rubbed back correctly.
