What's up everyone, just had a question reguarding what I believe is a clutch related problem. When I shift my blaster it stays at a high rpm for a second then the rpms drop down like it should. I've also noticed ( only for the first couple minutes of riding on solid terrain ) that when I first start riding it feels and sound like the gear/clutch slips when the powerband hits. Also when I first shift from neutral into first you can slightly feel the tranny jumping into gear and the four wheeler moves forward just a little bit. Could I need a new clutch kit ( clutch plates, pressure plates etc. ) or is it just a matter of clutch adjustment ? Adjusting the clutch cable alone does not make much of a difference. Any help or info on this matter would be awesome, thanks guys !

It sounds both like a grooved basket and using too thick of gear oil. I would first try changing to ATF type F and if the quad still tries to pull when you are in 1st with the clutch pulled in, pull the basket and clean up the grooves with a file.
