I took off the rear wheels, got the nut off and the blaster is resting on a metal stand, airborn. I even put some support on the swinger guard to reduce the gravitational pull of the swingarm. I tried smacking the end of the bolt with a hammer but its not budging. Any help?

does the bolt turn ? do you have air tools ? i have had someone work the impact while i hit the end of the bolt. your bolt is rusted to the bearing sleeve. you can soak it over night. put the blaster on its side, spray it down with a good rust buster like PB blaster and try again in the morning.

Try some Penetrating fluid or brake parts cleaner. Let it sit for awhile with the PB on it and put a block of wood over the nut. Smack the wood as hard as you can with a sledge. When you get it out, use Never Seize on it.

The bolt does not turn at all, and yes I have air tools (impact). And what if I dont have access to any "rust busters". What about engine degreaser?

no degreaser your better off with regular oil and trying to get it down the bolt if your impact is not turning it then its stuck pretty dame good

So not saying you should do this but we had the same problem on the '88 blaster we had, the bushings were so ridiculously fused or something to the bolt that nothing we tried to do to get it out worked, so after about a week of just tryin to accomplish that we said f*** it, and ended up cut it off and replacing the bolt lol probably was a better way to do but we got tired of messing with it! If u by chance need a swingarm rebuild kit, I got one that I ordered but didnt end up using it cuz I replaced the whole swingarm and it still had good bearing and bushings, just hit me up! :) I can send you a pic of it, if you end up needing it, its brand new never opened

If you don't want the bolt......Tip the Blaster up on it's side and get one heck of a sledge hammer with a long handle. Smash that baby to death and it should definately come out.

Ok so I just gave it another shot. I got the impact out, lined her up and squeezed the trigger.... nothing... So I held it there for 10 seconds. nothing. So I decided to just keep on trying. 14 tries later, it finally started turning. I kept doing it until I got it turning about 13 RPMs. Then I said f*ck it and just started pounding on the bolt as I was twisting it with the impact. Nothing at all. Tried it for 10 minutes but it wont come out. I know I need a new bolt but I dont give a sh*t. This thing is in there!!!! I might do what you just said Sonia 69. If I cant get this thing out tomorrow, I'm going to do what you did. I'll let ya know if I need that swingarm rebuild kit. I also got all of the engine mount bolts out and had my brother lift up the engine as I was unscrewing and pounding the bolt and it didnt work at all....
