ok ijust put a brand new top end bored .40 over and when i first started it ran good then a day later its like it wont go in the powerband and has hardley no power it goes 5 mph and then stutters

did you break the motor in right?

Have you retorqued the head?

Did you do the proper break in procedure, after a rebuild you should never just ride it like normal before breaking it in.

break it in right, also, is your plug fouled?

yea i just rode it around in first gear and one thing on the head one bolt was missing and 3 where loose so i put all new bolts and loctite but i did notice a perfect stright line and ther was no scratches in it at all

what do you mean by a strait line??? in the cylinder?? did you check the compression?? did you do heat cycles before you rode it???
