I need help with the carb on my 2000 blaster...well first off its been sitting for 2 years...so i just drained all the old gas and put fresh in, i refilled all the oil and put a new spark plug in...i can only get it idle for about 10 seconds after i spray some starter fluid in the air filter....so im thinkin the only other thing it can be is the carb is clogged. Can someone give me a step by step on how to take the carb off the quad first and then how to clean it...ive never done it before. Thanks for any help you can give me.

ok what you are going to do is there is a flat head screw on the motor side, and one for the rubber boot from intake side, they are expansion clamps, loosen them, then you have the tors, undo the tors from the top and throw it in the garbage, there is also a diy in here to unhook the brain and sh*t.
ok now you are going to turn it upside down, unscrew the 4 bottom bolts that is your bowl, do not lose any parts, they are very important, i would take the carb and soak it in diesel/kerosene mix, or soak it with wd40, or straight gas,it will clean it out. check you petcock, make sure you have fuel flow from petcock to carb, the spark plug cap make sure everything is doing what it should.
