Hey guys, my 06 blaster brake didn't work when I got it so I opened it up, cleaned it up and the caliper works fine. It needed new pads so I picked up some ebcs and put them in there and bled them 5 times already but it won't fully engage. I can see the brake move and it engages ever so slightly. I'm so pissed right now,I was about to push it on the road so a car crashed in to it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

to gravity bleed you remove master cylinder cover make sure resiviour is full then loosen the bleeder screw and let gravity do the work some times this helps it takes some time also you need to make sure you keep an eye on the fluid level and top it off when it needs it

To help speed up the process of gravity bleed, you can tap the brake line, it will help free trapped air inside the line.

I just want to ask....are you keeping the lever fully depressed before closing the bleeder? When you open the bleeder with the lever fully depressed, after pumping up the brake 5 times or so, then hold and release pressure from the bleeder, it should move downward slightly...hold and then close the bleeder. Everytime you repeat the process the lever travel will increase once the bleeder is opened, and once you have full travel during the bleeding process, you should have fully funtioning rear brakes.

i like to reverse bleed, either get a kit, or take the cap from the brake fluid, drill a hole a size smaller then the hose into the cap, get the hose thru the cap and screw it back onto the bottle, then open the bleeder, put the hose on, turn the bottle upside down and squeeze the fluid up the bleeder causing the air to go the way it wants naturally, up and out of the ressy

I am keeping the lever fully pressed when I close the bleeder valve. I will try gravity bleeding. Thanks

Thanks guys, I tried the gravity bleeding and now the piston is going strong. Just need to space the caliper now.
