I took my Blaster apart to repaint it. I got it back together yesterday and was riding it but I cant get it to start at all today. I`m afraid I messed up the wiring or something but I dont understand the diagram in the Clymer`s. ideas?
I put it back together yesterday and had it running perfect. I go out to the shed today to ride it and it wont start at all. I didnt completely take the wirring out because I didnt have to repaint the whole thing.
I had the plastics, swingarm, motor, headlight, and stuff like that off.
I have hd this happen a few times before, and I should take heed of the warning, because I am doing the same to my Blaster currently. Check the 3 wires going from your engine to the cdi and all that good stuff. Mine used to get knocked loose by a heel or something. Then it wouldn't start at all. That is, until we re-connected all three wires...maybe try new connectors if that doesn't help.
It gets spark and everythings hooked up correct so its good. I just found out that I need a new head gasket because when it starts it blows alot of smoke out between the head and cylinder. Hopefully thats my problem.
