need help on finding out what year my bike is....

what year is my bike, it starts with 3jm and the 10th number is 1 and the hole vin is only 13 letter/numbers long....help??

If the tenth number is "1" then it's a 2001. There is a thing in the DIY section explaining this.

i know ive seen it but i had my doubts as the number is so short? shudnt it be 17 digits long?

Eh, I duno...I'll check tonight.

As long as you've got digit #10, that gives you the year.

im pretty sure its only 13. its the 10th that matters anyway.

the vin has 17 digits and the 10th letter or number is the one that tells the year. Here is the cart I hope it helps u.
