hey guys...i have a problem and wanted to get some feed back from you....i am in the market to buy a used lone star +2 swing arm....i has some surface damage from a chain being broken...question is....should i buy the used one with the damage or buy a new one from the swing arm shop...the price is about the same....but i know the lone star makes good stuff? what do you think? please respond soon cuz i need to make a decision

go with the lonestar, its made out of chromoly and will last alot longer then the mild steel ones from the swingarm shop

ok heres what the damage looks like....

ok i'll try this again....heres the worst part of it...i am thinking i can sand it and get it re powder coated
mail

The round housing design is so much better then the stock yamaha design. I'd definately go with the lonestar

ok so i can't figure out how to get a pic up here of the lone star swing arm....the damage isn't too bad its mostly just chewd up a litte bit and rusty from where the chain hit it....i can get it for like 160 think i should do it?

ok i guess you can see it kinda of in that littepic its not the greatest for sure but you get the idea

i hope it takes it....if not i'll just fix it up and wait until i can get a new axel....any one if it takes the stock one?

a stock axle will fit in it. the only difference between a stock axle and an aftermarket, is the length (or width), however you measure it.

thats what i thought too but you never know....thanks...I love this forum by the way everyone on here is awesome...thanks!
