:-/:-/:-/Hey iv had a pro circuit pipe laying around for a month or too, and my friend who is very engine savy, was going to install it next weak. but now my dad cant give me a ride to his housewith my bike. So i was thinking i could install it myself, being very not engine savy. There is no tut, on there website so i was thinking you guys could help me out. Do i need any thing special, tools, parts besides the pipe itself. Also is the jetting stock, the chart on the site was very confusing. Thanks, and i am in the procces of painting my plastics black, but i stopped after the first coat cuz that night my friends invited me to go to breezwood proving grounds in the morning. iwent becuase i havnt gone in forever and i hardly ever do.. bad move gas spilled on them and the paint washed right off, so i am going to restart. ill get some pics.( i know the paint is off topic, but i didnt want to start a new post.)

no you dont need any special tools.just a rachet or wrench to put the bolts from the exhuast into the engine and to mount the silencer.make sure you sand ur plastics really good and do good prep work.prime it then use krylon for plastic and then put some clear coat on it

just a metric socket set, maybe some open end wrenches..umm prob be a good idea to replace the exhaust gasket..and yea you have to rejet your carb

K. thanks i did all the prep work and stuff for the plastics so thats all good. ill prob just wait for my friend to do it. Plug chop?

take the plug out, see if its runnin lean (you'll know if its a whitish color) if your runnin rich,(itll be a darkbrownish/blackish color) u should be runnin a little little i mean a little rich to be on the saf side.... you have to buy another plug too br8es are the plugs u buy... like $2 around here... hope i helped?

do you have the flange that goes to the pipe???, if not you'll need one
and yeah you need to rejet, i'd prolly start with a 270 and see what color the plug is after a warmed up, wide open, 6th gear run <<plug chop, the plug should be cardboard colored or darker is safe, light tan to white is a recipe for a seizure << no not the epileptic kind, the piston kind

be sure that u dont use the same plug that uve been using.... get a fresh 1, warm up the quad, put the fresh 1 in and top out the quad and hold it at wide open throttle in 6th for 3-7 seconds... shut it off, take the plug out and cut the threads off of it... there should be a 2mm darkish, chocolatey brown ring... darker and bigger that 2mm means rich, smaller and lighter means lean... its always better to be rich
