Was going to just order new piston and my head that popped bored honed and chamffered. But there is a whole top end assembly for what its gunna cost me but problem is it ebay not a wesico 269.95 new stock bore any advice im already .60 over port and polished boysen reeds jetted carb 230 fmf fatty and powercore 18 tires and resprocketed air lid removed. Also if I got to stock bore and not ported and polished will I have issue with mix again will I have to plug chop and possible rejet just wanna way my options oblivously id have to do the same going .10 over

-^^^^ yeah that's stock 230 main. I'm a little confused. That's probably why you blew it.

260 sounds a little low to. I'm not a master in jetting though. Some others on here will get you choose on what you should have been.

Are you asking if you should get a new cylinder off Ebay that is 66 bore/stock port instead of doing the last bore on your p&p cylinder? I would say no, you can sleeve your p&p cylinder next time if you need. It will cost more to have that EBay cyl ported and it might be a knock off, post a link.

Yup #280 main for the mods stated, but use an aftermarket air filter and pre mix at 32:1 and a #300 - #310 main would suffice.

Plug chop to confirm any jetting changes.

Right on thanks more then likely the reason why I popped top end I had.talked with a guy at local motorsports thats reason I went with main jet size his recommendations right on ill get new jet asap and so my cylinder dilemma I wanted to keep orignal p and p cyclinder just wasnt sure if get Into issues of comprssion loss at higher temps ive heard can go .80 over but wasnt sure

I'd agree with blaaster 100 percent I ran a 280 and it ran like sh!t with ur mods listed plus the after market foam filter and premixed, threw it to 300 runs good! Chopped it looks maybe just slightly rich maybe a 290 would be spot on. That's with the stock mikuni! But I'm leaving the 300 in for now I'm about to switch to a pj 34 I'm picking up today I'll rejet then!

I would say stick with ur cylinder get the last bore out of it ( since porting is expensive) like stated before u could get reesleeved if needed next bore. U could even get the big bore sleeve pressed in next time of wanted! I belive that can be done anyways to the best of my knowledge!

Whats the pj 24 you are reffering too like aftermarket diffrent mm carb

Yeah you can throw a diff carb on its different jet ranges. There based on size I'm not running mine till after my port work maybe.

You need the right size intake to run with it and I think sometimes a reed spacer.

So your gonna bore ur cylinder u have, and just rejet. Make sure u plug chop the main every bikes different. I started with 280 should have been the 300 glade I chopped.
