Need foot brake info

Will an 03 and up foot brake lever work on my 2000 foot peg or do I need the newer foot peg to?

you need the 03 pegs or just weld a tab onto your older style..

I got the tab from awks brake kit just lazy. I was going to try and find one to just bolt on. I got a welder to do. Just trying to save a little time. Thanks for the reply.

the tab on an 03+ is not long enuf to reach where the master is gonna line up on my bracket, mine will bolt on an angle and 03+ ones sit almost straight up and down, < i believe, just weld the tab i sent you to the pedal, on a slight angle down ward, heres a pic, but since taking this pic i've found it works better to weld it slightly downward and leave the rod longer on the master

disregard the original red line i was welding them on, more like the green line on that angle......................
