i just sold the cases i had. Take it to a aluminum tig welder and they can fix it. tell them to use at least 4340 aluminum rod . I could do it for you but i don't have a tig at my disposal.

correct ....a good machine shop can fix that easily , it will be cheaper to have a shop that knows what there doing fix it, rather than buying a new case.
I had a ski doo mxz 800 snowmobile last winter that had a crack in the case bigger than that , and a local machine shop welded it for me in just a few mins...i forgot how much i paid but it was somewhere in the $50 dollar range...only took a an hour to weld and clean up..
if you dont know any welders than i reccomend hitting up ebay...youll find something im sure
