Anyone ever find there self thinking,Why the hell am I putting all this money into my Blaster to make it batter and faster?Don't get me wrong. I love my Blaster and love talking about it on here.i just get thinking sometimes that I'll have to spend alot of money for it to be as good as say a 250R I can get one for about half of what I would spend on a Blaster to make it almost as good.I don't want to feel like that about my Blaster.Sorry if this seems like rambling. Just got off work and I'm very tired.

Id say you just enjoy makin things better and faster than they were. NO matter how fast or big your bike is, your gonna want more...

Everyone gets discouraged now and again it took me a year to build mine I scrounged eBay on a daily basis pissed off the wife for eternity and still ain't done and I got a banshee to start next and then do a complete frame up rebuild on the blaster it's just money you can't take it with you .

awk, your funny as hell ! Don't worry. I'm not getting rid of the Blaster.it's just sometime I get thinking about the prices of 250r and Banshees on CL and say to myself,it's going to cost me $450 for plus a arms, about $400 for works shocks front and back,$614 for a LA sleeve BB,$150 for the carb,$220 for port and head work $325 for a pipe.about $250 for a plus swing arm.plus what I put in it already. Wow!that coulda paid for a trx250r or a banshee. That's life. I'm still having alot of fun building my Blaster.

here's the issue i have with the parts you listed..........

most likely if you want to get that stuff for the blaster, once you get one of the other machines, you'll buy the stuff for them too and the stuff for those is just as much, maybe even more for those parts

theres no doubt what you are saying it true man but there are a few things that are keeping me blaster faithful, i really like how cheap they are to fix if something breaks and how easy it is to get parts. also i really like how people tend to look down on the blaster and how it genuinly hurts thier feelings when they lose or almost lose to one hahahahaha I:I I:I

all of us on here obviously like to do things the hard way or are on a budget. i hate to say it, but blasters are cheap, and stock they are turds compared to other bikes out there. we could all do things the easy way, and sell our blasters and buy something better stock, or keep doing what we do and build the underdog to perform better than alot of other machines and make our wallets mad while making other people sad and angry with themselves, when they get beat

That's true. I do have to say I like the size of a Blaster. It seems easier to control in tight trails. Maybe later I'll do a250r motor swap on it.

my exact sentiments as to why i keep my blaster looking stock, grill, hood, fenders ect. when i whoop some bigger quads ass out on the trails, i want him to know, without asking, what just handed him his pride, a blaster!!!!!!!!!
