Mystery exhaust on new blaster i just got *pics*

I just picked up what im told is a 98 blaster stock except dual stage boysen reeds a fmf header i cant seem to find info on and a DG muffler.

Heres some pics i cant find any info or pics that resemble this header what is it besides the obvious an fmf lol?

Its shaped different than my SST2 header is this a better design for my 240bbk than the SST2 if so ill swap them out since the new blasters just going to be .050 over wiseco setup.Thanks

That is an FMF gnarly. My wife (the_mrs on here) has one on her blaster although the one on her blaster *SAYS* gold series. It's simply a different design, not better. It's more of a "torque" pipe for woods riding.

It comes on early but doesn't finish real strong (which is obviously good for tight technical trails where "lugging" and low rpm operation might be an asset) but not better all around than the SST.

Thanks yea had me stumped as to wtf it was.

Well good because i was going to swap it onto my 240bbk if it was better.

The silencer is a DG ill get pics of it when i take it off it looks like its been leaking so ill clean it up repack it and new rivets after it gets polished up a little.

This quad will be a total country cruiser and trail rider shes not clutched alot and is used to stuff like the honda foreman and other autos so im trying to keep it conservative on the power.The fact this pipe will allow her to lug it will be perfect til she can master clutching.

So with a new top end this pipe and silencer and a set of boysens think this will be descent for her?
