I just got my blaster two days ago and joined the forum in the introduction post. I finally added a pic of mine to my avatar and signature, i think it worked. Anyways i bought this blaster for $250. Its a 1989, 200, two cycle. Needs alot of work which im excited about doing. It runs great but has no brakes lol, which is first priority and a new clutch and throttle cable. I want to ride it a little to check the motor and clutch out then its going into full restoration mode, on a budget of course as im a full time college student. Anyways i see some late nights coming up, not studying but working on my blaster. Love the forum, Thanks Matt.

Heres a couple adoption pics!! I know its a little rough... But ill get er done here in a couple months... ! thanks Matt

Good score, I like the yellow plastics to, ever since I saw Paulie B's blaster. I have a set of stock front brakes from my 98 blaster, they're drum brakes and need new shoes but I'd sell them cheap. Or you could do a hydraulic disk brake setup, look in the diy section, I have a thread about my conversion I'm doing

Mert, Thanks for the offer on the brakes unfortunatly i already ordered some..sooo waiting on that now.. Ya the yellow plastics are cool, but i already started stripping the paint off them. It was a poor paint job, they painted over the old cracked paint and dirt. Im thinking about using "texture paint" its kinda like rhino liner but its smoother with good color. I'll try to post some pics of the rims paint job im working on, turned out sweet. Later Matt.

I also seen some textured paint at wal-mart. I cant remember the brand but they had forest green and charcoal gray. I used it once a long time ago its nice!!!..
