So today I took my blasty to where my dad works. did a lot of stuff to it! LOTS!!!
First, I cleaned the crap out of it. Cleaned the fenders, scrubbed the stator cover and the clutch cover.
After the cleaning was over, i took the thumb throttle control cover thing off and used a bench grinder with a wire brush wheel and it worked great.
After that, I wanted to re-paint my rims. I half assed painting them the first time. So I decided to paint them over the RIGHT way. Primer, 3 coats of gloss black, 2 coats of clear gloss. They look GREAT!
BEFORE:
During painting:
Then I decided that the rims dont look good with the stock colored hubs, so I painted them (white) they look A lot better!! (When I painted them, I left them on the axel. I didnt want the spray of paint to get anywhere on the quad, so I used a paper plate. I cut a line about half way through, then cut out a circle in the middle. Just slid it on and it worked great!)
Then I used the same wire brush wheel on the bench grinder on my kick pedal thingy (whatever its called, i call it a kick start....whatever) Looks significantly better..
Then I polished the plastics with plastic polish. Looks a ton better. Also used some amor-all leather seat cleaner on my seat, looks great!
Everything back together
^^^^Looks good doesnt it. I think its wayyy better than b4^^
What do you guys think.
