I have a 91 Blaster that has vitos stroker and big bore kit with V-force reeds, 15 tooth front gear, adjustable stator runing 4 degrees adv. and heavy duty clutch, with stock exhaust and carb. I havent had the money to get the carb and exhaust yet. My crank seal leaks I know this because with the flywheel cover off I can feel air blowing out up to a foot away from the flywheel. I put a few new crank seals in and nothing changes. It won't idle. It will either rev up pretty high or just stall out. It runs fine except for idle. My kick starter broke so I have to push start it. Theres all the information on it aanybody have any ideas for me? I really appreciate it.

Yes I have I spent a week rejetting it. I forgot the specs I set it to. It ran fine when I was done rejetting it and it started doing what it is doing a month later.

Put a platic bag over the crank when you put the seal on, and put oil on it. The little lip on the crank is cutting the seal

When it is running with the flywheel cover off I can feel air blowing up to a foot away from the flywheel. Everytime I remove the old seal it looks as good as the day I put it in. The redness on the seals are still there. Could it be because I have a vitos crank and using yamaha seals or is there a bolt that I missed? I dont remember seeing any extra holes but I will look when I pull it back apart.

there are no bolts that go there just the holes for where the bolts go to hold the cases together. you did forget any of those did you? I just checked my spare cases I have in the garage. the other side has a bolt and plate the goes over the bearing.
