Holeshots and razrs are good tires, but they don't have the raw "hook" that klaws have. The biggest advantage of holeshots and razrs are that they have a square profile, which makes the machine less prone to tipping in the corners, and keeps it more stable when you're powersliding. That squared profile also makes it easier to climb out of ruts instead of getting stuck in them. The downside to this is that the square profile tires absolutely suck in mud and snow, and ride rougher than a rounded profile tire.
For some riders klaws can be actually too grippy, and make it hard to powerslide until they start to get broken in, and the lugs get rounded on the edges.
