Motor

Okay, And I took a piece of sand paper and sanded the gasket off earlier ):

If you got sand paper grit down into the crank case, the bottom end needs rebuilt. Quality sand paper abrasive is aluminum oxide, a few grains of that going through the crankcase can reap havoc on a engine. I was interested in "runs good" for $250.

Its like a block that is rouch, Not like grits. And I had a towel on it after I saw stuff went in it. Like when I took the cylinder off pices fell down and I pick em out but some may have went down not sure.

Heres the piston

Yeah I know grits didnt go down it. Still not sure what its worth. I took it off because I know it needed a gasket. The bottom ends worth 250 lol

Okay So what Im going to do is get a light hone and new rings, all new gaskets and c clips. Put it back together and It should be good to go!

I talked to a guy who is interested in trading a rifle for a quad. I've got the 04, which is in really nice shape but the engine needs rebuilt. I seen this thread just after I talked to him and thought it might be an ends to a means. More from a time aspect than cost. With the parts I've already bought, the out of pocket cost would be less than $250. If I work something out on the rifle, I'd probably just swap my stock engine out my 01 and leave it down until I could get another engine together.
