ok, what kind of piston? what bore? how many hours? have the cases been repaired anywhere? and what condition is the clutch in
that is a pretty good deal for a motor you just know "runs" if you did a compression test you would probably have more intrest in it
not sure why you pulled the topend off. that's not the head that is the entire cylinder. you need a basegasket and clean all the old gasket material off.
you can flush it out with paint thinner or carb cleaner. just make sure to lube everything back up with 2 stroke oil afterwards. then put a clean rag in around the crank while cleaning the gasket off. don't scrape it with sand paper or anything like that. you don't want to gouge or scrape that mating surface. you really need to do some research before you start digging into things you don't know much about
this is what i mean. not trying to be a dick. but the transmission isn't even attached to the crank chamber..... do your research man. watching ken o's videos is a good place to start
