im looking to build up my engine and i have been reading a lot of stuff but still have some questions i was thinking of getting my head ported and polished and a .30 bore kit and a bigger carb now will i have to get the cylinder sleeved and for the carb what would be a good size or could i just jet the stock carb thanks william

boring the engine dont increase power, a big bore 240 kit will. do you mean porting the cylinder or what. no you dont have to resleeve the cylinder unless its unable to bore anymore.

What type of riding do you do? What are your current mods? What is your budget for the build up? I don't recommend a bore job unless the cylinder is in need of one. Carb size will depend on pipe, porting, fuel, elevation and general application of the engine. If you would like a build quote feel free to hit me up.

right now all i have on the atv is fmf exhaust and i just mainly ride sand dunes so just get the 240 kit and a bigger carb and i should be good or what do you recomend and my budget is about 1000

You could get a 240 kit, and a better pipe than FMF. Maybe some VForce reeds and a stroker crank. Probably a little bit over 1000<<<

Best bet is to get the Vito's 240 Big Bore Kit and put in a Vito's +3 stroker crank! All for under $1000 if you sell your FMF. Get a Toomey B1!

Well he might even wanna try a Shearer! Who knows! I'm suggesting things i dont have lol. The only thing i recommended was the Toomey pipe lol
