i dono what the deal is some days it wants to run good and others it barly runs then some times ill ride and its all fine then ill shut it off and then sit for a bit and it dosnt wana run wright dose anyone kno what the deal is???

well it was black and stuff i think i might need to but i dont feel like payen 9 bucks for one cus thats what our shop wants for em i just went from stock to 270

i would drop it down a jet like a 250 or a 260 cause i run a 270 in mine and she is a tad rich .. do you have your air box lid off?..

yes and i got a peace of foam for a filter cus thats the way i got it but im guna order a dry filter and would advanced timeing help it from runnen like crap

yea i would buy a new uni filter .. and give that a try and if that dont work keep digging ... how does your reeds looks ?..

if you dont have a good seal on your filter the bike wont run right..Airbox is designed to deliver a certain amount of air..Try a 260 with your lid and snorkel on..Made all the differance..Kurt

i would get a real filter and try a 250 i ran a 280 ran like crap then a 270 ran a lil better then a 250 and its way better. try adjusting ur air/fuel screw on the side.

try going down a few jet sizes and $9.00 for a spark plug? are they out of their minds? my shop charges $2.50

no for the jets i just cleen my spark plug up with a wire brush its a iradium ngk i dont wana pay another 10 bucks for it

use a regular 2 dollar ngk plug, its like br8es and find a used 28mm or 30mm carb on ebay for liek 50 bux.

Sounds like your jetting is too high. Take it down to a 250 or so.
As far as "Is a 30mm too big?" No its not. You can use any 28 to 30mm carb on the stock manifold.
And like cirame said, look on ebay for a used carb, they're cheap!

whats a good carb and would any 2 stroke 28 or 30mm carb work and would i have to get a new throtal cable and the big part of the intake where it gose to the carb its like not long enuff to get on the carb fully so i think its leaken air
