Just wanted to share this with you folks here on the forum - modifying a shift star can make a HUGE difference in how well your bike shifts especially when running at higher speeds and / or racing.

This is a stock shift star - note the really high peaks and how far the detent lever has to travel to grab the next gear.

What we do is precisely measure, cut, and blend lower, smoother, more rounded efficient points to the star allowing it to travel with less throw and less effort. Below is the modded star.

If you've never done this mod, you owe it to yourself to either purchase or cut one yourself, these make a noticeable difference in ridability. We have two for sale on this forum right now, at any time you can send us your old star and receive it back fully modded for $25 (return shipping is included) Thanks for your time guys.
