might need a new connecting rod

if your crank is bad and your going to spring for a new one why not get the stroker its just a little bit more if you cant afford the porting then you will still have it to build off of later

best to do it once and do it right that one time than to do it more than once.

alright heres the point im trying to make. i see more than a couple post where somebody tells someone new to the site that they have to get the porting to run a stroker crank. and alot of times nobody will say you can run it without the porting.
its not going to run 100% but you can still use it and build off of it later is what im trying to say. i can understand telling them that they are better off with the porting and the carb the pipe ect. but you can still let them know they have the option of just droping it in with the spacer plate. i wouldnt run one without the porting or good carb better pipe but you can do it is my point.

just because i can kill you doesn't mean i should.
there is a difference between doing it the correct way and then there is the half ass way.

ok do you want to explain that to me mabey in the chat box start a new thread or pm's dont want to crowd up this thread anymore

Ken's states $120 to rebuild a blaster crank on his website which is a deal considering he guarantees concentricity and some new cranks have been known to be out of spec straight from the factory. When wiseco went to assembling cranks in china, the QC went out the window...

I hear tale he has a good crank core to rebuild now so he'll be able to turn cranks around quick, mail him yours and he'll mail you back the last one he already had done. Turn around in one day... ;-)

Both those Vito's cranks are the same, one kit also has spacer plate and gasket. If you need a crank, get it and ride. You can get porting, etc later. My son's Banshee has a stroker with no porting and stock everthing else. It runs like a stock Banshee. It has a 2mm solid copper head gasket instead of jug spacers so really it was de-tuned. Next time the engine is torn down it will get porting etc.

ask him how much he would charge to replace the bearing.

Your smoking something. Listen, would you rather spend $20 more for +3 stroke and get no porting then or would you rather get a stock stroke, get porting, then decide to get a +3? Migth as well throw a +3 while he is inside the motor...I hate tearing them apart, its no fun.
