I have a problem with my Blaster running like garbage. When I have the gas on it sputters and chokes and runs terrible. However when I turn the gas off it runs perfect. Don't tell me its the carb, i split it, adjusted it, cleaned it, and just about married it. I have a BR8ES plug in it. I accidentally put too much oil in before and fouled the plug. I think the spark plug in it originally was a BR8EG. Does that sound right? Is the BR8ES plug making the machine run terrible? It is bored .20 over and has a jet kit. I AM GOING CRAZY WITH THIS F******* BLASTER!!! Let me know what you guys think.

Sorry to do this, but if it runs better when you shut the gas off, it's likely the carb. Turning off the gas will in no way affect the spark plug or any other part the ignition system.
Did you rebuild your carb? Maybe the float valve is not closing 100%? Maybe it's just jetted too rich. What are you running for jets?
