make your own hose seal for exhaust

Well this answers my question. I have owned my blaster for a couple months, and wondered why there is just a screw going thru the exhaust holding it on to the silencer. Thought it might restrict some, now I know how to fix it! thanks!

just make sure you get the right hose. i got my exhaust and the previous owner had used a hose as a seal between the header and silencer and it had melted and looked horrible and it melted through the holes in the hose clamp so you couldnt tighten or loosen the clamp

I tried radiator hose it melted down after about 2 hours. So i dunno.. Am i running too hot or something?

Id say. My radiator hose has held up after several sessions of me beating on it.
