make my blaster faster

i want 2 make my blaster acclerate faster.my blaster is bore .20 over with a wiesco forged piston other then that it is stock. what else should i buy.i thought about buyin a bigger rear sprocket like a 42 or 44 tooth. i have a medium size yard i can only hit 4th gear before i have to turn around lol

1 option i know of is to get your flywheel lightened by Ken. Think i saw he charges 60 on his website.

First thing, get a pipe! FMF would be good if you have such a small area.

Lighten flywheel, porting, head mod. That list is practically endless.

If you get a larger rear sprocket, you lose quite a bit of top end speed. Im sure at some point you will ride somewhere besides your yard, so i say keep stock.

Firstly, are you getting all the power you have available to the ground, or are the wheels spinning?

Often acceleration can be gained by simply changing weight over the rear wheels..

A word of warning, if you swap out the rear sprocket, buy a new front and a matching chain, otherwise you may run into problems with chain breakage.

Advancing the timing by 4 degs will bring the power you have to come on earlier.

Do the tyres suit the terrain you ride?

i have a 14 in the front on mine (stock is 13) and it helps quite a bit on speed

also what size rear tires do u have?

I have 22x11x8 tires and no the tires don't spin unless I'm in lose sand or dirt/mud the quad pulls wheelies in 2nd gear easy though
