magneto

2004 Blaster. Wont stay running over a few seconds. How do I adjust the magneto?

not being a smartass....but why do u think its the magneto, or stator..........if its running then u have spark...thats pretty much all that does

cause the timing is off. The spark is not sparking at the right time. I dont know what else it could be

well u have to take off the flywheel and the stator is right behind it...........but if its the stock timing u might have a sheared off woodruff key......take off the flywheel and look for the key on the crankshaft

its hard to say, how can u tell that it is not firing right??

it will start but not stay running. im not positive whats wrong

well i would start simple....clean the carb, change the plug, clean ur airfilter......its highly unlikely that the key is sheared off, unless u tore the motor apart and didnt tighten the flywhell good
