i stay around oregon and wa, i ride like 4 diff tracks around here, its a royal pain in the ass to swap plastics everytime i race and get it to pass inspection, it takes me like 4 or 5 hrs to do so i am looking for just a race bike, i got the akro hex for sale used from a guy on 600rr.net used it like twice then i used it a few times and resold it for more than i bought it for, lol, i have so much into mine, mike velasco did the tune on mine, i have ig module, pc3,ported head by motogenius, woodcraft frame sliders, woodcraft case savers, pilot power pures, full jardine rt-1 exhaust,-1+2 sprocket with new chain,sato racing rearsets, bmc race filter,yoydyne slipper clutch, dynotuned by mike velasco at brothers powersports,asv levers,spiegler front and rear brake lines, my custom fairings i had made.im buying the ohlins HO502 here before race season hopefully, the schrader valve in my showa shock gave out and caused the bladder full of nitrogen to bleed, so its shot.
i just did a valve adjustment this winter because my wipe out, which i was thinking it was because of the rear shock, but i will never know. lol dont think i want to either. plus i was running tires i should have changed before, trying to get the most out of them, lol ended up costing me new race plastics.
