LTR shock

if it takes a 10mm bolt, kens bushings will work, either inside the mounts, like the 400ex's, or on the outside like the 250r's

Think 75 bills is a good price for a barely used almost brand new ltr shock and was just told that he can make me the bushings if I buy the shock he has a lathe and all

I have an LTR450 Rear Shock setup, yes it can be used with Kens Bushings. And like the 400ex rear shock, you have to drill out the bottom holes to fit. I got mine for $13 shipped on ebay in great condition.

How do you like it compared to the stock blasty shock?

Well I never actually rode with it yet, I bought it as I started my build. I did, however, slap it in and tested it by jumping up and town on the grab bar, it was a little too lose because the pre load was all the way out. I just have to adjust it. Its just like a 400ex rear shock though, same resovior, and length

i guess the works shocks atv application listing i have in front of me is incorrect then. it says the LTR shock is a little over .500" longer than a 400ex shock.

which may actually be a good thing for this particular member. i see he likes to do alot of hillclimbs. this extra height on the back end would make the machine stay down in the front better. also he would probably feel more comfortable sitting more towards the back of the seat on the hills to gain traction. when i climbed my lt250r i used blaster front shocks on it...lowered the front a little and IMO helped me up the hill. as long as you are not too worried about the handling charictaristics of it, it will not make a huge difference being an inch higher in the back.
