im having ahard time watching it sober lol... but yes it cranks right up cant wait to see what it does on the 20'' holeshot clones instead of the 22'' all terrains second gear on the road it will stand right up to... should be fun this summer on the trails
pretty much, there not in in the same classification, lol a 250 rappy is a 4 stroke blaster with better brakes and suspension lol... and a blaster will outrun them in most cases,,, my lt250r is more comparable to the newer 450s
if you took a yfz 450, a lt250r a tr450r and a trx250r there gonna run the same class in mx, in drags the 2 smokers normaly get there own class

I'm hoping to get mine sideways in a week or so. it runs but I wanna get it dialed in alot better before I romp on it. I suppose it needs a new topend anyway so what the hell, ride it til she blows and hope not to really damage the bottom end LOL I just found out last week my motor is actually an AV/race gas build but it's gone down so much and been run for the last few years (at least) on pump gas with the race built motor
gonna try to find out if I can get AV gas and if I can I may just rebuild it with the same high comp dome and run the AV stuff with some of that smelly additive stuff to make it smell like blueberry or something LOL
super jealous tho, haven't taken my bike very far or fast yet LOL my 450 hasn't gotten any attention either as I've been trying to get the 250 back from the land of the dead LOL
and no, even with pipe, cams ect the raptor 250 will not even be close to as fast as the lt250r, they are faster than honda trx 250rs stock for stock and mod for mod. but the honda has more aftermarket for big bores and strokers ect, so ultimately it can be built to be a more insane drag bike than the LT250, at least from what I've seen, same for zillas vs shee's

correct basshead, the lt250r was faster straight line than the trx250r BUT the trx250r suspension was and still is far suprior to the lt250r, aftermarket frames can be found now and then that use the honda geometry and basicly you have much better machine stock for stock, pipe to pipe, carb to carb, but once a big bore trx come sin the mix the lt cant play no more sinc ethe aftermarket isnt there any more
