Well if you can get a trx250r I would get that over a LT..

I have a LT I am rebiulding/restoring because I was ready to give up my first born for a trx......

the lt250r is a good machine but the trx was ahead of its time

I've always wanted an 85-86 lt just becuase........... but the trx wins hands down for so many reasons.

The only plus to the LT is to make it a hybrid......

Putting a LT500 motor in the LT250 frame..

But this gets very costly but IMO well worth it......

I have about $1900 in my LT. Buying whole quads for a few parts and selling the rest is how I did it.

Always with the same questions use the search and google old magazine tests.

The honda still has many aftermarket parts available and is a better handling bike. Every machine has its qualities and shortcomings.

The LT is a very fun machine also. Not nearly the aftermarket the Honda has.
