lrd pipe question?

I just got one for christmas, and the manifold dosent sit flush with the cyilender, so then it spits oil out. So dose anyone know if it needs a gasket.

if it doesn't fit flush against the cylinder then you may have to take a grinder to it. sounds like when it was welded from the factory that the piece warped from the heat.

yea maybe it was warped, i kno mine sits flush , did you make sure your gasket is in there flat? no carbon pushing it out on 1 side/

i have a lrd and was told they will all do that and to use high temp RTV..
Thats what i do..
