Lower chain roller

I know probly in the wron section for this but
does anyone have any ideas on what I could use
for a lower chain roller?

A new lower chain roller! or if you have a lathe make some from UHMW.

I don't have a lathe unfortunately just trying to find
something that would keep the chain from ruining the stem
the roller goes on for now till I get a new one

If you upgrade to the bearing rollers (last much longer) they require the stem cut off and give you a bolt and washers to attach it, I had to retap my Hole however, but wasn't hard.

Righ I don't want to damage my shifting stem. I've got an
idea a skate board wheel I could take some off the top of a
skate board wheel and be done

That would get ya by till you can get the proper but will not last long! If I can find the 1" piece of nylon I would make you a couple, give me a day to see if i have any at my work!

5 minute fix, then throw the used up bottom on the top, just in case

Teflon kitchen chopping board, hole saw, drill dit.

Cut a couple, they will do till the new one comes.

I always have a few in the tool box, which reminds me I still have the chopping board one on since the last emergency a year ago.

Is your chain slacker than 40mm play with the rider sitting on the bike?

If so it could be slapping the bottom roller.

it was i tightened it up before I rode it on my
way out to the pit behind my house is when it disinigrated

This is kind of like Blaaster's idea but it won't put you in the doghouse with your wife/mom/girlfriend for hacking her cutting board to pieces!

I haven't bought a chain roller since I've had my blaster I buy materials that cost me ~$3.50 per roller and make 5 at a time I keep a few in my toolbox at all times.

All of the bits and pieces are available at your local hardware store and they last as long as the stock rollers. The outer hose is what's called "dishwasher" hose and is hard plastic so it'll take quite the beating. If you realize that it's eating down, you can press another piece of dishwasher hose onto the bushing and inner hose so they're (if you catch them in time) rebuildable! I:I
