Just put new rings in my blaster and then did a compression test, its only reading 60 psi why so low??
Put new rings to freshen up the top end after port work, has all new gaskets, and runs goodask yourself why you put in rings??
what is the issue not starting??
if your lucky comp gauge is lying
ooorrrrr you need more then RINGS like bore/hone/piston rings/measured correctly by a professional.
Replaced the piston not too long ago still looked brand new almost..I would have spent the $60 on a new piston instead of just rings
My uncle has a ct racing 240 blaster and we ran a compression test on it and only said 90 psi and it is harbor freight one but still wonder! What brand compression tester? I used a harbor freight compression tester and got 70 so I rebuilt the top end with all new piston and rings gaskets tightened everything nice broke it in and only got 85. So I know the tester was inaccurate
How long does it take for the rings to seat in there good before I do a compression test?My uncle has a ct racing 240 blaster and we ran a compression test on it and only said 90 psi and it is harbor freight one but still wonder!
