if u still got ur tors thats a good place to start remove that piece of sh*t..

there is DIY on how to remove your tors hope that helps, if that not the problem check ur wiring

get rid of it. look under the diy section of the forum. its stickied in there. but i think its probably ur stator or coil...

first thing to do is check all your connections. Also will want to check your TORS and parking brake sensor (if applicable). A long time ago i removed the tors on my bike and cant remember how but i removed the box and everything. Ill find a wiring diagram and show you how i did it though. Ive never burned up a coil or CDI on any of my bikes, only stators. But id say start at the coil and grab it with your hand and kick it over and see if it has any juice at all coming from it. Could be a weak coil if it still has some kick to it. Or, if you have money like most of us do, just buy a new coil and cdi, only about 60$ and you can upgrade while youre at it with a hotshot cdi. Then if all else fails youll need to replace the stator.
