Lost my ignition key.....

yea there is .. just unhook the ignition and it will start you will need to shut it off by the switch on the bars tho..

wouldn't you need to use something to make the connection so it assumes the key is in the ON position? ei a jumper wire to complete the circuit?

no.. the key off.. completes the ground to kill it

nope the key grounds the ignition when you turn it off so when its in the on position there is no ground other than through the spark plug

Thanks for the input on this. I finally got my girlfriend on my blaster last weekend when we were out in the desert and now she's got the bug and wants to ride around the neighborhood.

The key number (X#####) is lightly printed on a black sticker located on the side of the ignition cylinder and the dealer can cut the key.....in case you want to look legit riding your stolen blasty

my key is very usefull.. it keeps my 5yr old brother from starting my blasty when im not around, and yes i said 5 and yes he can start it, hes 5yrs old and weighs 60lbs, hes also over 4ft tall, people think hes 10..lol

i like having a key, when i ride with my friend, he has a honda cr85, i have the advantage to take his bike and go while he dont have my key to take mine xD and ofc he dont take teh wires, he dont wanna ruin.

(Still i like riding mine instead its faster to)
