Was driving and twisted the throttle back all the way to get going and the blaster made a loud pop and lost all power. I can shift and it'll change the gears (new to engines but I can tell by the rpm's) and I can rev it with out hearing any knocks. No power is being sent out at all to the wheels and I have no idea how. Looking for any advice on what happened or what to check for. Thank you guys.

No the chain didn't snap. When I was pushing it back it did have power for a split second in third gear but that's it and it was barely anything. My father thinks it could be the transmission but I'm guessing clutch (but then again I'm not very mechanically inclined lol).
I'm not that bad to not notice if the chain snapped lol but thanks anyways!

was thinking bad sprocket?....would a crank bearing do that too? not sure...if not clutch or tranny problem like they said
