any one have a cylinder for sale that needs bored up to a 67mm.

Looks like no one wants to buy the piston i have so Im looking for a cylinder that I can have bored to the 67mm piston I have.

Let me know what You Have.

I have one that I measured (with a bore gauge), that I would guess was on 2nd bore. It measured a heavy 66.5mm but I'm not sure if .020" would get the scaring out. I haven't had it to a machine shop and I got to different "guestimates" from 2 machinist at the plant. One said it would clean up at .010"-.015" and another said .020"-.030". I measured it top to bottom and 3 or 4 places, it's round and true. I had planned on sending it off and letting the shop decide what piston I needed and just buying it from them.

PM me what you are looking to get out of it.

I have no idea what it's worth. What kind of shape is your cylinder in? You said it was only run a few minutes, was that on a fresh bore and hone? If yours is fresh and ready for a 67.5 piston, maybe we could just trade. I have to buy a piston either way. If yours is ready for a new piston, I would be willing to give up a couple bores for one that is ready to put together.

Actually I ended up buying a 67.5 piston and putting that one together. I do have a another one that is 67.5 that is ready to go. It does not have a fresh bore but has fresh hone. I need another cylinder for a different motor I am building. I have 2 cylinders right now but are all bigger then 67.00. and I already have a 67mm piston and if no one will buy it then I guse the next logical step it to buy a cylinder to bore to the piston.
