locking up?

hey im new to this im thinkin about getting a 95 blaster with a 240 kit and a stroker crank, but the guy that is selling it said it ran good but the tranny would lock up. so jw what it could be?

well youd have to tear it apart ,shift forks or worn gears with missing cogs screwed up clutch basket bad shift cam screwed up shift star ..the list goes on

well he wants $250 but i get the bike a set of paddles and the dune front, boost bottle, k&n filter, and a set of dirt tires.
