LED tail light- Worth it?

Hello, I was wondering if it is worth it to switch from the original 03-06 blaster tail light, to a LED tail light from my local yamaha shop.
Is brighter better? what are the pros and cons.

Also how can I make sure the LED i want to get has the brake function too?
And is clear LED better then red?

I have red LEDs out back I'm not sure what the yamaha shop is charging but my setup was under 20 bucks pic is in my sig

is that a blaster? do they get brighter when you hit the brakes?

Yes it's my 2000 blaster but no they are set up as just running lights they. Aren't dual filament bulbs

Oh, soo the ones i would be getting probably wouldnt have that either? they are UFO
