My motor has never been touched or opend up. should i still do a leakdown test just to make sure? also what size main jet should i run with a fmf exhaust, open air box with k and n filter with vf3 reeds?

ya thats what i thought! is there any easier way to remove a plug without having to take the gas tank off?

no do a leak test, we just got a leak tester from fellow member slickerthenyou. i highly recommend getting one from him they work amazing and are quick to use. just becasue your motor hasnt been rebuilt dosnt mean it wont have a leak.

why waste a bore on "freshening it up" if it has no issues? i would leave it and start modding until you wear the bore out. or have a substantial tuning error

Are you kidding?
I just took a CYLINDER off without removing the HEAD or PLUG or TANK!
These gotta be the easiest thing ever to work on. You need just the right type of plug wrench.

Yes, do a leakdown test. Listen to your flywheel seal and gearbox filler for leaks.
Soap up the case and check it too. Bolts come loose, seals wear out.

Is that a Canadian flag on your tank?

/\/\/\ leave it to steve to spot that maple leaf, LOL
