L.A Sleeve 240 Kit

what port and polish do you recomend? i also want t get a +4 stroker. thanks.

well in stock form they are decent for play riding but theres so much potential to work with o n a la sleeve kit head setup reed cage and the intake benefits and available volume its all definitly a big bonus fro ma builders perspective .with the right porting ,bolt on mods in the right chassy setup it can be downright deadly o n a strip ,member only2strokes is my sponosred rider we have his dialed in pretty good on gas,it hits 6.7seconds in 500 feet at 80 mph , i have never seen him lose to any modifed 4 stroke production atv i n any drag race ...doesnt matter if its a cherry bomb ltr450 or piped cammed 700 rapterd ,they all fall to this 244 :)
heres a run versus a modifed 450 with a good rider in 300 feet ^

i just bought a vitos 240 kit and i heard the piston is sh*t on it, i found an LA sleeve 240 kit piston on ebay for $129 plus $8 shipping, for 1 i would like to know if the piston would be able to work in the vito's and 2, i would like to know if thats too expensive for the piston,

ok but is $138 a lot for the piston, i just wanted to make sure their wouldn't be anything wrong by putting the LA piston in the Vitos jug with the intake and exhaust windows not matching up or sumthing like that

do your research

I cant tell you the answer. BUT, I can tell you that you need to find out what size piston is supplied with each kit, if they are the same size then yes it will fit.

the la sleeve piston has a very different window style on the intake due to the use of a 250r intake design of the sonic kit versus a stock design like the vitos kit uses ,this can be modifed or not and will work .72mm is standard

I'm running one in mine and haven't had any problems. Of course I didn't build the motor, so I'm not sure if the piston had to be modified. $138 for a bb piston is about right
